Three are seriously hurt in ATV crash

PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. -- A driver and two children were thrown from an ATV during a weekend accident.

Sarah E. Keene, 30, Brooklyn R. Linville, 6, and Carson J. Linville, 4, of Portageville, seriously injured during an accident at 6:45 p.m. Saturday on Highway TT at County Road 417, four miles southeast of Portageville.

Keene was driving north when her ATV lost a wheel, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol report. The vehicle began to overturn, throwing Keene and the children.

Keene was taken by air ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. The children were flown by air ambulance to Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
