The driver of the pickup, Glenn Pobst, 23, of Sikeston, was uninjured. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The accident occurred at 3:40 p.m. at the connection of Route HH with Highway 61. A spokesman for the Missouri Highway Patrol said the Riley vehicle failed to yield the right of way and traveled into the path of the Pobst truck, striking it and knocking it off the road.
