The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission is meeting today in Springfield to decide which projects identified by MoDOT will be approved for federal stimulus funds. The meeting takes place at 2:30 p.m., and we'll have reaction from MoDOT's Southeast district on the decision of whether or not to fund some local projects, including improvements to the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport.Click here to see which local projects are up for funding.
In November the Daily Statesman newspaper in Dexter, Mo., reported on the death of a young man after his friend allegedly gave him a fentanyl patch, on which he overdosed.Now the man police say gave his friend that fatal patch is about to face trial.
