Today marks one year since the beginning of the massive rain that led to major flash flooding around Southeast Missouri, but particularly in the Diversion Channel area.Today we had a story looking at how things are going in Dutchtown on the flood's anniversary. Butler County bomb threat suspect follow up

Earlier this week we reported on an arrest made in a January bomb threat in Poplar Bluff.Police have now released more information about the suspect and her alleged motive for committing the crime — she wanted to avoid going to jail for skipping out on a court appearance.Click here for the latest details from the Daily American Republic newspaper.

Jury selection begins in Shockley trial

Jury selection began today in the trial of Lance Shockley, a Carter County, Mo., man accused of killing Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Carl Dewayne Graham Jr. in his driveway.We reported on this case, and the delay to get it to trial, back in 2008. Click here for the latest developments.
