Coverage of the Cape Girardeau school board forum tonight

The Cape Girardeau public school district is overhauling its facilities plan, and tonight the first of three public forums on the subject will take place.The forum will be at 6 p.m. today at Central Junior High School auditorium, 205 Caruthers Ave. Click here to read more about the forum and what will be discussed, and check back tonight to read a report on the ideas discussed there.

Scott County burglary, stealing arrests

Reports of three arrests in a stealing investigation and one arrest in a string of burglaries came out of Scott County late last week. Three men were arrested for stealing in the Kelso area, and a Sikeston juvenile was arrested for a string of burglaries.

Hypothermia killed Dunklin County man

Investigators don't suspect foul play in the death of a Dunklin County man we reported in November.Last week the Dunklin County Coroner confirmed that the man found dead in a shallow drainage ditch in the Dunklin County country died accidentally, of hypothermia.Click here to read more.
