It's been 14 years since Joshua Kezer was convicted of the murder of Angela Mischelle Lawless, who was found dead near Benton in 1992. The past several months have seen Kezer involved in a process to try to clear his name after several things called the validity of the prosecution into question.
This week Kezer goes to court to present his case as to why he should be exonerated.

Last month a hunter from Sedalia, Mo., got quite a surprise when the big buck he shot, which he thought was dead, came alive and attacked him. The man eventually got the buck, and lived to tell the story.

The Cape Girardeau County Commission made an unprecedented move today when it voted 2 to 1 to put a cap on how much money the sheriff's department can spend each year. The department can now only increase its year-to-year spending by 3 percent in an effort to preserve more Prop 1 money.
