OAKLAND PARK, Fla. -- Deputies say a thief worked for 15 minutes to drag a cooler full of Good Humor ice cream past a sleeping clerk at a gas station. Surveillance cameras captured a man walking up to the store at 4:09 a.m. April 2 to find the clerk sleeping. Authorities say the man opened the ice cream cooler, peered at the clerk, looked into the camera and flashed a middle finger. He pulled the $2,500 cooler through the store's doors. Dennis Norman later was arrested on grand theft charges.
