JACKSON -- Carrie Heise of Jackson won the Achievement Award for 15-year-olds at the 1992 Miss Teen of Missouri pageant held in Jefferson City July 16-18.
The achievement award is presented to each age group in the pageant. Girls from age 13 to 18 participated.
The Achievement Award is determined by personal development. Heise, 15, is an honor student at R.O. Hawkins Junior High School, and a member of the honors band. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. A Cadette Girl Scout, she recently earned the Silver Award. Heise plays soccer and has participated in the Show Me State Games. She also referees and coaches soccer games.
She is the daughter of Wayne and Kathy Heise of Jackson
