A 19-year-old Cape Girardeau man connected to an October burglary at Club T Zone pleaded guilty Monday to an amended charge of felony stealing before Circuit Court Judge William Syler.
Jajuan Bell was originally charged with second-degree armed robbery, a felony. Bell and several other teenagers allegedly attacked an employee and stole money from a container filled with cash, consisting of the club's cover charges.
An employee identified Bell as one of the people in the establishment that night after police officers found Bell near the club.
He is set to be sentenced in court on March 1. The felony charge of stealing is punishable up to seven years in prison or up to one year in the county jail and a possible fine of up to $5,000.
