Circuit Court Judge Gary A. Kamp heard no testimony Thursday in the case against Benjamin B. Harrison II, as the 17-year-old waived his right to a preliminary hearing.
Harrison, of Jackson, is charged with statutory sodomy, a felony, and will appear in court again for his arraignment Feb. 7. He's accused of making a 7-year-old have oral sex with him.
According to court documents, Harrison confessed to the sodomy in a police interview, claiming he "wasn't thinking" and had smoked marijuana before the incident.
