TCI's FALL FOOD DRIVE UNDER WAY

Local TCI offices are nearing the end of the fall food drive campaign. The "Take a Bite Out of Hunger" campaign concludes Nov. 30.

"Our goal is to collect as much food as we possibly can, which we will then donate to local charities for distribution to needy families in our area," said Roger Harms of TCI in Cape Girardeau.

Customers in Cape Girardeau and Jackson who donate at least five cans of food to the drive will receive $5 off the next month's cable bill.

The group hopes to collect six tons of food in the region, which includes parts of Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Missouri.

Food can be dropped off at TCI offices, 1620 N. Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau and 1335-A Old Cape Road in Jackson, Howard's Sporting Goods, Carpet Connection, Shivelbine's Music Store, LDD and Brenecke Chevrolet Co.
