Harms said adding another cable news service will give customers a more detailed perspective on each day's events.

Fox News Channel also has an interactive component: Viewers will be able to communicate with Fox personnel via home computer.

The Fox News Web will be connected to the TV newsroom, allowing viewers to respond to the news the instant it is reported. Some may respond on the air.
