Cape Girardeau's Taxpayer Action Network announced recently that the local Taxpayer's Action Day Rally will be combined with the St. Louis chapter.
The rally will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the St. Louis County Library, 1640 S. Lindbergh, across from Plaza Frontenac. It will be one of 200 held across the country.
The rally's focus is on waste in American government. Speakers include Congressman Mel Hancock and Mark Rhoads, editor of the Waste Watch Journal.
