CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Free tickets to the Feb. 16 performance of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra will be distributed Monday at the A.C. Brase Arena Building, beginning at 8 a.m.
The 2,300 tickets will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis, said Rosie Gottlieb, of the city Parks and Recreation Department.
The symphony will perform at the Arena Building here.
The orchestra's "America's Musical Spirit" tour of the state begins Tuesday and runs through March 3.
While the concert is free, donations will be accepted at the concert to benefit the American Red Cross, Gottlieb said.
Sponsors of the Cape Girardeau concert are the Parks and Recreation Department, the Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts, Famous Barr, Schnucks and Concord Publishing.
