SWIM-A-CROSS SET TODAY AT THE CAPE CENTRAL POOL
The American Red Cross is holding its 14th annual Swim-A-Cross event today from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Cape Central Pool. Prizes will be awarded to all participants. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place money raisers, and to the person who swims longest and the oldest swimmer...

Prizes will be awarded to all participants. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place money raisers, and to the person who swims longest and the oldest swimmer.

Prizes include tickets to Six Flags in St. Louis and gift certificates to area stores and restaurants.
The event is co-sponsored by the Zonta organization of Cape Girardeau and the local parks and recreation department.
Anyone wishing to donate money to the American Red Cross can send a check to or stop by 2610 Gerhardt in Cape Girardeau.
