"These two swans sitting here indicate the close relationship of M&W and Saueressig," Sanders said. "We also know that swans have a very long life; what we also hope is that this partnership has a long life."

Rath added that the idea for swans came during a walking tour of the grounds with Sanders.

"We have this nice pond here and we thought it should have a little bit of life. We came up with the idea of swans," Rath said. "Then we found out about the star constellation."

The swans' names are Cygnus and Deneb, which represent stars in the constellation.
