CHARLESTON, Mo. -- A Charleston man is recovering after being shot.
At approximately 10 a.m. Sunday, Charleston Department of Public Safety officers received a report of a shooting on Sy Williams Street near the intersection of Vine Street. At the scene, officers located Jadarius McCain, 19, with a gunshot wound.
Department director Robert Hearnes said McCain was transported to an area hospital, where he was reported in stable condition.
