Art and theater workshops for all ages will be offered this summer by the Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts.
The art workshops are for ages 6-17 and are in sculpture, drawing, painting and fibers.
The sculpture workshop will be held June 26-30; drawing June 10-14; painting July 17-21; and fibers July 24-28.
Class size is limited to 15.
Morning sessions are held from 8:30-11:30 a.m., and afternoon sessions from 1-4 p.m.
All sessions will be held at the Southeast Missouri State University Art Building.
The fee is $40 per student per workshop ($45 for Arts Council members).
The instructors are Carol Horst, Brenda Seyer and Marion Weiss.

The theater workshops will be offered July 17-28 at a location to be announced and will be provided by Philip D. McGuire, festival coordinator for the Walt Disney children's Arts Festival at the governor's mansion and Capitol complex in Jefferson City.
Creative Dramatics will be taught for children 6-9 from 9:30-11 a.m..
Beginning Acting will be taught for ages 10-13 from 1-3 p.m. and for ages 14-18 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Both Creative Dramatics and Beginning Acting are 10-day classes.
Acting for Adults, for ages 18 and over, will be taught from 7-9 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays over two weeks.
Fees are $65 for Creative Dramatics and Beginning Acting ($5 less for Arts Council members) and $40 for Acting for Adults ($5 less for members).
