Three area students have been inducted into honor societies at the University of Missouri-Rolla.
Jill Suzanne Gosnell of Cape Girardeau, a senior in geological engineering, was inducted into Tau Beta Pi. Tony Lee Blaylock of Jackson, a freshman in engineering, was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma. Corey Dean Wills of Perryville, a senior in mechanical engineering, was inducted into Tau Beta Pi.
Tau Beta Pi is an honor society for junior and senior engineering students. Seniors must be in the top one-fifth of their class.
Phi Eta Sigma is an honor society for undergraduate students who have completed between 15 and 45 hours toward their degree and have maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
