Cape Girardeau Central High School inducted students in the National Honor Society Tuesday.
Students who receive invitations to membership in National Honor Society are juniors and seniors who uphold the standards of scholarship, leadership, service and character as determined by the faculty council.
A student must maintain a cumulative B average and must be active in three approved school organizations and activities.
Some of the service activities students participated in this year are guides for Back to School Night and Parent Teacher conferences, ushers for baccalaureate and graduation, and volunteers at the school blood drive and swim meets.
Senior inductees are: Kara Baugher, Kristi Blattner, Keasha Brown, Bentley Clifford, Tara Hahn, Thomas Harte, Amy Hook, Marla Jones, Nickole Keller, Lance LaFont, Sara Lah, Robert Marietta, Meike Newell, Brian Ridenour, Andy Rock and Stephen Welk.
Lan Ha was accepted as a senior transfer from Magnolia High School in Anaheim, Calif.
