Four area students have been honored through the Tandy Technology Scholars program.
Honored as outstanding math, science and computer science students at the school level are Alina Stepak from Scott City High School and Rebeccah Elizabeth Nothdurft of Oran High School.
Honored as Top 2 percent Academic Nominees are Michelle D. Keesee of Scott City High School and Kathy Jo Sauceda of Oran High School.
Each participating school may nominate a senior who is outstanding in math, science or computer science. The students receive certificates and are eligible to compete for one of 100, $1,000 scholarships.
The academic top 2 percent of graduating seniors are eligible to receive certificates recognizing their achievement.
This is the fifth year Tandy Technology Scholars has made awards.
