STUDENT WINS PADUCAH ART COMPETITION

Elizabeth Green of Cape Girardeau was a recent double winner in the Women's Club of Paducah Art Show held in Paducah, Ky.

Each student was allowed to enter two original works of art in any medium.

Green's pencil drawing entitled "Eskimo Smile" received the second place ribbon and monetary award in the senior high school division.

Her watercolor entitled "Grandma's Flower Basket" received the third place ribbon and monetary award in the senior high school division.

Green attends Central Junior High School where she is in the ninth grade. She receives art instruction from Beth Thomas of Cape Girardeau.

She is the daughter of Ken and Ann Green of Cape Girardeau.
