Angela Jo Tanner of Cape Girardeau, who has just completed her sophomore year at the University of Missouri-Columbia, has been selected as a student ambassador for the School of Health Related Professions.

She was selected along with five other students to represent the school. As an ambassador, she will be educating high school students about health careers and job opportunities.

Tanner, an occupational therapy major, is a member of the Student Occupational Therapy Association, an elected member of the Health Related Professions Student Council, and a student member of the Newman Center building committee.

She is a member of Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and has attained the dean's list each semester.

She is the daughter of Neal and Jo Tanner of Cape Girardeau.
