JACKSON -- Amanda Allmon, a senior at Jackson High School, has been chosen by the faculty of Jackson High School as the Student of the Year for the Jackson Noon Optimist Club. Allmon is vice president of the student body, vice president of the student council, a member of National Honor Society, Outstanding Athlete Award recipient, four-year letter winner in softball, state qualifier in speech and debate, and a member of scholastic honor roll...

JACKSON -- Amanda Allmon, a senior at Jackson High School, has been chosen by the faculty of Jackson High School as the Student of the Year for the Jackson Noon Optimist Club.

Allmon is vice president of the student body, vice president of the student council, a member of National Honor Society, Outstanding Athlete Award recipient, four-year letter winner in softball, state qualifier in speech and debate, and a member of scholastic honor roll.

After graduation, Allmon plans to attend college and become a physician. She is the daughter of Roger and Linda Allmon of Jackson.
