STUDENT GRADUATES

Josh Cano, son of Janet L. Maevers of Cape Girardeau and Luke Cano of St. Louis, recently graduated from Whitfield School, a private school in St. Louis. He received a scholarship for 11th and 12th grades.

Cano was second in his class, St. Louis Post Dispatch scholar athlete, received the President's Award for Educational Excellence, the George Washington Carver Award, the Washington University Book Award and made all-conference in soccer.

Cano will attend Washington University, receiving the dean's honorary scholarship to the School of Engineering and applied science for four years.
