STUDENT EARNS NATIONAL MERIT MAY SCHOLARSHIP
Kelly O'Neil of Cape Girardeau has been awarded the May Department Stores Company Scholarship of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. O'Neil recently graduated from Central High School. A member of the National Honor society, she made the A-honor roll every quarter of her high school career.
She plans to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia and hopes to receive a degree in a business-related area.
Her mother, Mary O'Neil, is a sales associate at Famous-Barr's store in Cape Girardeau.
