The National Weather Service has received preliminary reports of trees down in areas of Bollinger County, Mo., after a line of storms moved through the area Friday evening.
Trees were reported down in and around Marble Hill, Mo., from a weather service cooperative observer. A trained spotter reported trees down near Sedgewickville, Mo., and a county emergency manager reported trees down near Patton, Mo.
A large highway sign was also blocked part of Interstate 55 at the Oak Ridge exit, an emergency manager reported.
A line of storms that came through about two hours later prompted a report of a funnel cloud near Patton and a 50 mph wind gust at Cairo, Ill.
