Students Taking Responsibility in Volunteer Excellence (STRIVE) will hold a "Have a Heart Drive" for three local agencies Saturday.
From 10 a.m. to noon, STRIVE volunteers and a youth group from Centenary United Methodist Church will seek donations door to door in Cape Girardeau.
Items to be collected include canned goods for the FISH food pantry, baby care items and toys for the Women's Center and Safe House, and educational games and sporting goods for the Cape Girardeau Civic Center.
STRIVE is a project of Student Life programs at Southeast Missouri State University. Each semester, STRIVE students select a community project and direct the program.
