SIKESTON, Mo. -- A $427,858 contract to stripe Interstate 55 in Pemiscot and New Madrid counties has been awarded Interstate Road Management Corp. of Peculiar, Mo., by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission. Work is expected to begin in the spring, with completion anticipated by the end of the summer. The striping caravan will be a continuously moving operation.
