A tree fell across the street on the 300 block of North Park Avenue, knocking down power lines and cutting power to at least one house. Limbs were snapped off trees on that street and in other areas.

Dispatchers at the Scott and Cape Girardeau county sheriffs' departments said they received no reports of damage in the rural areas.
