Stoddard County police arrest three more on drug charges

DUDLEY, Mo. -- A late night traffic stop Sunday resulted in the seizure of approximately two pounds of marijuana in Dudley.

According to Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner, K-9 officer Andy Holden stopped the vehicle near Dudley because it was suspicious in nature. After speaking with the subjects, Holden and the K-9 did a search of the vehicle where they located approximately two pounds of marijuana in the passenger compartment area.

Arrested were Neil E. Ozenbaugh and Kristen J. Ozenbaugh of Whitmore, Mich.

After further investigation, Neil Ozenbaugh was found to be a parole absconder from Michigan on charges of home invasion and burglary.

Neil Ozenbaugh has been charged with the class B felony of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute (marijuana), the class C felony of possession of a controlled substance and the class A misdemeanor of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $75,000 cash only.

Kristen Ozenbaugh was charged with the class B felony of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute (marijuana) and a class C felony of possession of a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $50,000 cash only.

Both suspects remain in jail at this time.

In a separate incident, the Sheriff's Department also arrested Michael T. Gibson on drug related charges.

He has been charged with the class C felony of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and the class A misdemeanor of possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $25,000 cash only.

These arrests bring the total number of drug-related arrests in Stoddard County to 16 since last Thursday.
