Stoddard County man hurt in wreck near Advance

ADVANCE, Mo. -- A Bloomfield, Mo., man is in serious condition following a wreck Wednesday on Highway 25, one mile south of Advance. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kelly Cagle, 23, was northbound when his vehicle, a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, drove into the southbound lane, striking another pickup head-on. That vehicle, a 2004 Dodge Ram, was driven by Rosa Stoltzfus, 18, of Advance, who was uninjured. The patrol report states she was searing her seat belt. Cagle, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck, was airlifted from the scene and taken to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
