Dr. Bonnie Stepenoff, associate professor of history at Southeast Missouri State University, has been appointed to the board of editors of the Missouri Historical Review. Seven members representing colleges and universities in Missouri serve on the board. The board recommends editorial policies for the quarterly journal of scholarship on the state's history. Dr. Gary Kremer, director of the state's historical society, made the appointment in March. Southeast officials announced the appointment last week. "I have contributed numerous articles to the Missouri Historical Review and I am pleased to be included in the decision-making process about the society's future," said Stepenoff. The society was founded in 1898 by the Missouri Press Association.
