The Missouri Department of Public Safety's Division of Liquor Control suspended the liquor licenses of six area establishments.

Those suspended were:

Kim Maddox, owner of The Den in Bell City. Her license was suspended for six days effective Nov. 30, for failure to report an illegal act.

William J. Barnwell Building Association and the Knights of Columbus in Perryville. The license was suspended four days effective Nov. 30 for sale or supply of alcohol to minors on the premises.

Jeremiahs, owned by Jeremiahs Inc., of Cape Girardeau. The license was suspended three days effective Nov. 30 for unlawful consumption of alcohol after hours and failure to close the establishment in accordance with liquor control codes.

The Oval Den owned by Oval Den Inc. in Benton. The license was suspended for three days, effective Nov. 30, for two counts of consumption of alcoholic beverages by a minor within the establishment.

Taylor Auto Supply, owned by Taylor Auto Supply Inc. of Perryville. The license was suspended for five days effective Nov. 30, for the sale or supply of liquor to a minor.

Hotop's Bar and Grill, owned by Rueben B. Hotop of Uniontown. The license was suspended for two days effective Nov. 30 for consumption of alcohol by a minor within the establishment.

Licensees who have their license suspended by order of the supervisor of liquor control are prohibited from selling or giving away any intoxicating liquors or nonintoxicating beer during the suspension period. They are also prohibited from ordering or accepting deliveries of any liquor or beer from wholesalers during the period of suspension.
