ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The Missouri Department of Mental Health is investigating a mentally disabled man's death Sunday morning.
STLtoday, the Web site for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports that 28-year-old Timothy Davis was found dead in the SSM DePaul Health Center for mentally ill patients.
Department of Mental Health spokesman Bob Bax confirmed the investigation, but declined further comment.
DePaul hospital is privately operated, but Davis's health care was being covered by the state. Department officials sent Davis to DePaul hospital on Dec. 20.
