The Missouri Housing Development Commission will hold a public hearing later this month regarding a request for financing and/or housing credits for two apartment complexes in Cape Girardeau.

The hearing will be at 6 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Pear Tree Inn, 2211 Market St. in St. Louis to discuss requests for River Heritage Apartments at Walker and Woodlawn streets and Silver Springs Apartments at North Silver Springs Road and Spruce Street.

The complexes are senior housing developments that will include about 40 units each.

Commission staff will describe developments and accept and record public comments. Interested parties may attend the hearing to submit verbal or written comments. The public also may submit comments directly to the commission at 3435 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64111, or through the office of Cape Girardeau Mayor Harry Rediger.

All public comments must be submitted by Nov. 4 to be considered.
