Patricia Stubblefield of Cuba, worthy grand matron, and Richard Goggin of Bonne Terre, worthy grand patron, of the Grand Chapter of the Missouri Order of the Eastern Star, will make an official inspection of local chapters Wednesday.

The meeting will be held in the Masonic Temple in Cape Girardeau at 6:30 p.m.

Stubblefield, the chief executive of the 45,000-member Grand Chapter of Missouri, will direct the business sessions of the inspection for the 49th District.

Eastern Star Chapters located in the 49th District are Perryville Chapter 46, Perryville; Cape Rock Chapter 60, Cape Girardeau; Jackson Chapter 91, Jackson; St. Mark's Chapter 167, Cape Girardeau; Whitewater Chapter 174, Whitewater; Oak Ridge Chapter 310, Millersville; Victory Chapter 431, Marble Hill; and Zalma Chapter 509, Zalma.

Carole Laster of Perryville, district deputy grand matron of the 49th District, is in charge of the arrangements for the official inspection.

The Order of the Eastern Star is affiliated with the Fraternity of Freemasons and is the largest fraternal organization in the world in which both men and women hold membership.
