Trish Garmon, an instructor trainee at Stage One, has been nominated for the Eva Rust Scholarship Fund.

Manager Mary Jane Ervin did her hair as a student at the school. After Rust's death, she started a scholarship fund in her honor.

The $500 scholarship is offered to students at the school. Garmon, 20, is a 1995 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School. She is the daughter of May Garmon, a 1989 graduate of Stage One.
