St. Paul Kindergarten students of Lisa Lipke Doris Palisch put on a special Christmas program, "Celebrate the Season," for the St. Paul congregation Wednesday night.
The students sang several Christmas songs, while Rev. David Johnson and puppeteers Taylor Myer, Rachel Sprandel, Kyleigh Walters and Ashley Clevenz told the Christmas story.
The congregation joined in with several traditional Christmas hymns, such as "Oh Come, all ye Faithful," Away in a Manger," and "Oh Come, Oh, Come, Emanuel," as well as a medley of popular Christmas hymns.
Johnson read the Gospel story from Luke 2:1-20 and led the congregation in the Christmas Creed.
Lipke was music director. Orville Perr Jr., was accompanist, while Lois Fehrmann was organist and Tyler Sprandel was candle lighter. Kyle Brotherton made the puppet theater.
Participating kindergarten students were Kyle Amelunke, Jena Brotherton, Kodi Byrd, Nathan Elfrink, Lauren Hecht, Patrick Kasten, Brandon Klinkhardt, Carly Lorenz, Braxton McDowell, Kaitlyn McQuay, Natalie Mueller, Jordan Myer, Alison Schreiner, Landon Spain, Kristy Winter, Brannon Wright, Brittany Abbott, Rebecka Barber, Lauren Barr, Gabriel Bohnert, Anthony Etzold, Cody Lunsford, Kami Lynn, Ethan Mirly, Melinda Pfeiffer, Kolton Schaefer, Benjamin Spiecker, Collin Sprandel, Logan Sprandel, Emma Steffens, Benjamin Unger, Anna Whitlock and Madison Wiggins.
