Restaurant owner Chris Sommers said Pi's chefs got a chance to make pizza for Obama in October when he was in town for a rally at the Gateway Arch. Reggie Love, now an aide to the president, called Sommers. Obama then took the phone to say the pizza was the best he'd ever eaten.

The White House communications office on Wednesday confirmed the visit. Sommers said he is picking up the expenses. He previously made a Broccoli O'Bama pie and plans to make a new spicy chicken Hyde Park pizza for the occasion.
