St. Louis County skateboarder dies, day after being hit by car
ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A 13-year-old skateboarder is dead after being struck by a car in south St. Louis County. The accident happened Friday night at Lemay Ferry and Green Park in the Mehlville area. The teen died Saturday night at a hospital. The victim's name has not been released...
ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A 13-year-old skateboarder is dead after being struck by a car in south St. Louis County.
The accident happened Friday night at Lemay Ferry and Green Park in the Mehlville area. The teen died Saturday night at a hospital. The victim's name has not been released.
Police say they received reports Friday of four teens skateboarding dangerously close to traffic. The accident happened as officers were en route to investigate.

Authorities believe the motorist who hit the teen had no way of avoiding the collision.
