The Heart Institute at St. Francis Medical Center will present a program on cardiovascular disease Nov. 18.
The program will be held in the Department of Education at St. Francis with registration from 5:30-6 p.m. A welcome reception will be held from 6-7 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m.
Dr. Alan J. Tiefenbrunn will speak about "What's New in Thromnbolytic Agents." Tiefenbrunn is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine's sub-speciality board in cardiovascular disease. He has lectured throughout the world and is an associate editor of Coronary Artery Disease.
He is also associate professor of medicine at Washington University.
The program is approved for 1.6 hours through the Missouri Nurse Association. Continuing medical education credit is also available.
