ST. FRANCIS TO HOLD GALA TO RAISE FUNDS

The St. Francis Medical Center Auxiliary will deck the halls Tuesday for its 1995 Christmas Gala at the Drury Lodge.

The event, which will raise money for auxiliary projects including medical scholarships and equipment purchases, will feature a variety of holiday decorations to be auctioned to the highest bidder.

Auction items will include decorations such as trees, wreaths and centerpieces, and gift items.

Doors will open at 7 p.m.

"In addition to a traditional auction, we'll also include a silent auction featuring merchandise donated by local merchants and restaurants," said Pat Miller, volunteer services coordinator for St. Francis.

Items for both auctions have been provided by JCPenney, Cracraft-Miller Furniture and Decorating, Knaup Floral Company, Francine's Flower and Garden Shop, the St. Francis Auxiliary, Petals and Bows, Mercantile Bank,, Judith Ann's, Home Interiors and Gifts, Inc., Country Spanish Shop, Drury Southwest, Whitfields Fine Dining, DuShell's Furniture, Mid America Hotels, Schnuck's, JoAnn's Greenhouse, Jackson Florist and Antiques, Floral Connection, Ye Olde House, Sweetheart Florist, Arrangements By Joyce, The Added Touch, Boatmen's Bank, Holiday Happenings, The Fantastics, Toni's Flower House, Rust and Martin, Bloomin' Balloon's, Hecht's, C.P. Wine, hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be available.
