St. Francis Medical Center recognized 263 employees recently at the at the hospital's fifth annual service awards banquet.
The hospital's board of directors honored employees who had reached five to 35 years of service at the hospital. The 263 employees have worked at the hospital for a combined 2,595 years, said Bob Owen, the hospital's director of human resources.
Clara Legrand, health information management, and Jo Evans, administrative, were recognized for reaching 35-year-milestones with the hospital.
Administrative partner Charlene Boss and Theresa Halter of the housekeeping department were honored for their 30 years of service.
Sue Nauert, R.N., gastrointestinal laboratory coordinator, was recognized for reaching a 25-year milestone.
Recognized for 20 years of service were Marcia Abernathy, Carole Calvin, Edythe Davis, Robert Dumey, Rebecca Eftink, Debbie Huckabee, Patricia Hutteger, Ron Kinder, Connie Laurentius, Susan Matthews, Betty Myer, Luann Pfau, Anita Pfautsch, Cheri Reed, Dianna Reisenbichler, Pam Roche, Vickie Sadler, Phyllis Santoni, Linda Wadlington and Wanda Wichern.
The hospital recognized 56 employees with 15-year tenures, 59 with 10 years of service and 122 for five years of service.
Don Magwitz, pharmacy director, and Linda Schlick, R.N., patient care manager, were honored as recipients of the hospital's fourth annual leadership award. The award recognizes members of middle management for outstanding service and leadership.
