"Serving as a Junior Volunteer is an excellent way for high school students to find out about the many types of careers available in the health care field," observed Pat Miller, director of the St. Francis Volunteer Services Department. "Our Junior Volunteers gain valuable insight into these career opportunities which can help them make some decisions about their own future. They also provide an important service to the Medical Center and its patients."

To learn more about the Junior Volunteer program at St. Francis Medical Center or to arrange a personal interview, call the hospital's Volunteer Services office at 339-6166.
