An exercise program designed for people with arthritis will start June 5 at St. Francis Medical Center.
The program, called PACE (People with Arthritis Can Exercise), was developed by the Arthritis Foundation and is sponsored by the Regional Arthritis Center at St. Francis.
During the six-week program, participants go through a series of exercises and activities to increase mobility and function. The sessions meet Mondays and Thursdays from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the St. Francis Health and Education Center.
Enrollment is $15. Written permission from a doctor is required for enrollment. For more information, call the St. Francis Fitness and Wellness office at 339-6838.
