The defendant had been driving a vehicle of someone he knew, and the owner wanted it back, according to Jackson police Lt. Rodney Barnes. It had not been reported stolen.

After the police officer pulled Davisson over, he noticed the defendant trying to hide an Altoids case under the car, the statement read.

The case held a small baggie of methamphetamine, several burnt marijuana cigarettes, and an unsmoked marijuana cigarette. During a pat down of the defendant, a marijuana pipe was found in his pocket.

A $50,000 bond was set for Davisson.
