Twiggs was arrested Sept. 11, 2009 in Sikeston, Mo. after police spent two weeks searching for him. During the high-speed chase Aug. 28, a female accomplice drove the vehicle with Twiggs in the back seat, leading Cape Girardeau officers to Scott City.

According to officers, when Twiggs reached Scott City he broke into a residence and forced an elderly man to drive him to Chaffee, Mo.

Twiggs was originally wanted on felony warrants for drug distribution and a parole violation.
