Following registration from 8 to 8:50 a.m., the first session will be "Iris Spuria for Your Perennial Garden" by O.D. Niswonger of Cape Girardeau, president of the American Iris Society. It will be followed at 9:45 a.m. by a refreshment break.

Next will be a program on "Plant Propagation" by Todd Knaup of Knaup's Greenhouse in Cape Girardeau. Simultaneously, in another room, Pat Steinborn, member of the American Bonsai Society, will hold a class on "Bonsai, the Art of Dwarf Potted Trees."

Another double session will be held from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Joe Touchette, manager of Plants Plus, will speak on "The Right Tree for the Right Place." Gerald Bryan, agronomy specialist for University of Missouri Extension, will talk on "The World's Worst Gardener: Home and Garden Chemical Use and Safety."

Following a refreshment break, Joe Sherinski, Mr. Goodgarden on KFVS-TV, will hold the final session on "Brown Thumb Perennials."

The Jackson Men's Garden Club, also open to women gardeners, has held two previous garden seminars that were well attended. All speakers are authorities in their field.
