SPORTS & RECREATION SHOW HELPS BEAT MID-WINTER BLUES
CARBONDALE, ILL The 1991 Spring Sports and Recreation Show at the SIU Arena will have more than 65,000 square feet of exhibits offering hundreds of ideas on how to enjoy those warm summer months ahead. CARBONDALE, ILL The 1991 Spring Sports and Recreation Show at the SIU Arena will have more than 65,000 square feet of exhibits offering hundreds of ideas on how to enjoy those warm summer months ahead.
The show will feature boats, RV's, hunting and fishing equipment, information on locations to catch or bag the big ones, resorts and more.
Informative and educational seminars will also be given by local experts.

Dates of the show are Feb. 1 from 5-9 p.m., Feb. 2 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is $3 for adults. Children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
Door prizes will be drawn hourly and $500 in cash will be awarded to one lucky spectator at 8:30 p.m. Feb. 1.
